This is my 90 Omni "R/T" as I like to call it. I purchased this car during summer 1998 with 71,000 miles on it. Besides a few door dings it was in very good condition. My first plan was to never race or modify this car... We all know how long that lasts. My current plan is to prepare the car to the letter of the rules for SCCA Solo II FSP class competition.

Modifications:

Engine:
K&N drop in filter
Underdrive pulley
MP front engine mount

Suspension/Steering/Brakes:
15" Pizza wheels
GLH front sway bar
GLH rear springs
MP Autocross front springs
MP Carrera rear shocks
Koni front struts
Energy Suspensions poly bushins
14:1 Shelby power steering
GLH Brakes F/R
Five lug conversion

Appearance/Interior:
GLH airdams/skirts with blue stripe
GLH grill/headlight bezels
Black bumpers
87 Omni sport buckets
JVC Kameleon 180W stereo w/ Infinity speakers

Recent/In Progress:
Rebuilt head w/ 1" deep port match
Port matched manifolds
Turbo II intake manifold (but no turbo) :)
Custom SMPFI fuel injection

Latest update: 4-20-2001
Fuel injection system is moving along swiftly. Power supply and injector driver boards are build. The interface board is almost done. I expect to be done in 4-5 weeks.
